The importance of cardiovascular movements in your routine can’t be overstated, and is a key to the Alpha’s steady diet of stamina. In short, cardio provides a mood lift in terms of the fabled "runner's high", improves your resting metabolic rate and most certainly improves overall health, conditioning, energy exertion, focus and well being.
Building the alpha foundation requires facilitating use of the human body’s strongest and most important muscles, the legs. They can be split into two main parts, plus calves, when drawing up a workout playbook.
Being an Alpha requires having an Arnold-esque back to carry the team.
And since the back is the second largest group in the body (after the legs) consisting of a bunch of different muscles which all need to be isolated for complete development. Similar to the chest strategy, there are many different movements, grips and angles used to target each muscle of the back.
Alphas understand that having a strong core makes everything else easier in life. You can’t neglect the abdominals, obliques and lower back muscles in achieving this, and it will save you years of discomfort and bad posture. You also don’t want to go out the way Houdini did; so develop a super-tough gut that can withstand any punch, at any time.
